Questa fotografia è stata scattata Al Grand Canyon, in Arizona, nel lontano 1994.
Era una splendida giornata di sole e mi ricordo perfettamente che stavo ammirando lo splendido panorama che questa incredibile meraviglia della natura mi stava offrendo, quando, all'improvviso, un gruppetto di scoiattoli sono balzati fuori daun cespuglio; questi erano tutt'altro che impauriti e correvano allegramente attorno alle scarpe di noi visitatori, giocando e divertendosi a rincorrersi. Ricordo che attorno all'area del parco c'erano cartelli che insignivano i turisti a "NON DARE DA MANGIARE AGLI ANIMALI, SOPRATTUTTO AGLI SCOIATTOLI".
Purtroppo, noi umani siamo soliti a non leggere i cartelli e quasi tutti allungavano le mani per "regalare" una patatina, un pezzettino di pane o un biscotto ai poveri animaletti che ovviamente non disdegnavano. Questa foto ne è una testimonianza anche se la particolarità è stata che il turista aveva appoggiato la lattina sul muretto causa un mini-foro che si era creato sul fondo e da questo ne fuoriusciva in minime quantità la bevanda. Gli scoiattoli, attratti dal sapore dolce della soda non riuscivano più a "farne a meno" e come dice una famosa pubblicità degli anni '80:
TUTTI AMANO LA PEPSI!!!
This picture has been taken at Grand Canyon area, Arizona, in the 1994.
It was a perfect sunny day and I was just looking at the landscape around when a bunch of squirrels came out from a bush; they had no fear at all and they started to run around the shoes of the tourists, playing and enjoying. All around the area there are so many signs saying:
“DON’T FEED THE ANIMALS, OVERALL THE SQUIRRELS”
Nobody, unfortunately, really reads these signs and you can often find a tourist feeding the animals with bread, chips, candies, cookies….but what I’ve seen taking this picture has been something really unusual. The can has been dropped off the wall because it was broken (there was a hole at the bottom of the can) and the soda was slowly coming out. Squirrels were attracted because of the sweet taste… As an old commercial says:
EVERYBODY LOVES PEPSI!!!

Not really much to say about this picture except that when I've seen this deer drinking on the water, I just had to stop the car and sat there. I started to watch him and that scene; It seemed like I touched the freedom and peace of life; the sun just seem to help the situation and make everything...
JUST PERFECT!!!!

I believe that everybody's dream is to spend Christmas around the fireplace, with the snow outside the window, with cookies on the table, with a cinnamon hot chocolate in the mug, with Deck The Halls movie at the tv...
Well, I just had the chance to spend my Christmas dream: the snow was falling outside, the temperature was below the zero and....the fire warmed up the place around; some Christmas songs were playing at the radio and....
ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS....
